Encouraging positive behaviors in children impacts the quality and degree of harmony of interactions between them and their environment.
The development of areas such as physical health, participation in healthy social activities, academic pursuits, getting along with others (peers and family), following positive cultural norms, and developing abstract values (such as integrity and empathy) are especially critical.
Over the course of the program, participants will be invited to adopt the KIND Mindset which states:
Be KIND to ourselves.
-
-
Intrapersonal: Self Awareness, Self Confidence, Physical Health, and Well-being.
-
Be KIND to others.
-
-
Interpersonal interactions with family, peers, and adults.
-
Be KIND to our environment.
-
-
Interactions with the physical environment, community, and country.
-
The learning outcomes of each development session reflects on one or more aspects of the KIND Mindset.
While KIND’s primary focus is on children, we recognize the importance of actively engaging parents. That’s why this initiative includes a three-part parenting workshop—designed not only to reinforce the program’s goals but also to equip parents with valuable skills and information to support their children’s learning.
